Your browser, your choices
Cookies & privacy.
A clear account of what this site stores on your device and how you can manage it.
Effective 20 September 2026What we use
Catwalker uses local storage, a browser feature similar to cookies, to remember the pieces you choose to save. We also remember your analytics choice. These functions do not require a Catwalker account.
Saved pieces
When you save a piece, this browser stores its product details and your selected retailer size, currency and offer information. The saved list has no automatic expiry. You can remove pieces on the Saved pieces page or clear Catwalker’s site data in your browser settings. Clearing site data removes those saves from this device. We check saved product identifiers against the current catalogue when you open that page.
Your analytics choice
Choose “Allow analytics” or “Essential only”. The catwalker_analytics_v1 cookie remembers that choice for up to 180 days. It is a preference cookie, not an analytics identifier. Web Stories use AMP’s consent controls and may also store the choice in browser storage. Old “Got it” acknowledgements do not count as analytics consent. Change your choice at any time using Cookie settings below or in the footer.
Analytics and advertising
Google Analytics loads only after you accept. It helps us understand page and story visits and interactions such as scrolling and outbound links. Google’s _ga and _ga_* cookies distinguish browsers and sessions; the standard site tag is configured for a 180-day cookie lifetime, renewed with activity. AMP Web Stories may use their own analytics identifiers. Declining leaves reading, shopping and saved pieces available. Withdrawing stops analytics on newly loaded pages and clears the standard Google Analytics cookies available to Catwalker; reload other open Catwalker tabs to apply your choice there. Clearing all Catwalker site data also removes saved pieces. This choice does not grant consent to advertising.
Images and retailer websites
Some product photographs load directly from retailer image servers. Those servers receive the information needed to deliver an image, including your IP address. When you follow a shopping link, the retailer and any affiliate network apply their own cookie and privacy policies. Catwalker’s notice does not control those websites.
